Using EFT For ...

Addressing Addiction and Substance Abuse

Tapping For Addictions With EFT

I have found EFT to offer reliably good results for addiction and substance abuse problems. The benefits are two-fold: First, EFT can bring down the immediate craving within minutes so that you can walk away from food, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, and other addictive substances. In a research study I conducted, that you’ll find on the EFT research pages, participants found their craving levels dropping by 83% within 20 minutes. In a few rare cases, this simple procedure has also collapsed the overall addiction.

Second, EFTs long term successes are due to its ability to address an important cause of addictions: the need to tranquilize the anxiety caused by underlying emotions like anger, fear, and guilt. Until these issues are dissipated, the addictive behavior may remain. That is why people who successfully give up one form of addiction may simply switch to another (from alcohol to sweets, or from coffee to cigarettes, for example). EFT is designed to reduce the intensity of the emotionally troubling memories that underlie many of our addictive behaviors. Once they’re resolved, our need to tranquilize them with addictive substances often goes away.

You can get started with EFT for little or no cost. In our weekend workshops, we provide hands-on demonstrations of how quickly EFT can eliminate cravings. You walk away with the knowledge of how to use it for your cravings on a daily basis. Below are some stories people have written about how EFT helped them deal with cravings and substance abuse, often in very short periods of time.
