Instructions for the 9 Gamut Technique

During some of the recorded coaching sessions that are part of the FibroClear course, I ask people to do the 9 Gamut technique. Here are the instructions, and a video showing you to do this. Please familiarize yourself with the 9 Gamut technique, because it is a powerful method of dealing with traumatic memories, limiting core beliefs, as well as feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. Thanks! Dawson

There were so many wonderful little nuggets that I got from assisting you @ your most excellent Level 1 EFT Workshop at the NY Open center March 7/8 of this year, I don't have the time or space to list them all here and now, but I'll try to list them in another post. :)

HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised to hear/see you demonstrate and discuss the venerable "Nine-Gamut Technique".

I was surprised because I have only very rarely seen the "Nine-Gamut Technique" demonstrated or taught by the current generation of EFT practitioners and trainers for almost 15 years.

I'm probably having a senior moment, but I do dimly recall sometime in the very early 2000s possibly pre 9/11, Gary announcing to the EFT Community at large that we no longer needed to include the "Nine-Gamut Technique" in the EFT Basic Recipe.

Of course, EVERYBODY in the EFT community more or less dropped the "Nine-Gamut Technique" including myself. ;)

Every once in a Blue moon, however, when I was working with a client with a really tough issue that just wouldn't shift, I would drag the old "Nine-Gamut Technique" out of the closet, shake the dust off of it and run with it, and it would work just fine.

Looking back with 20/20 Hindsight I have noticed a serious consequence of dropping the "Nine-Gamut Technique".

Even though at first dropping the Nine-Gamut seemed to save some time on the front end, particularly when working with large EFT groups, workshops, and trainings.

More often than not, there would always be a significant number of the group/workshop participants who still had a S.U.D.S. (Subjective Unit of Distress Scale) above 5, even after two rounds of tapping.

So, basically the so-called "Short-Cut Method" may have saved me some time on the front end, but actually cost me more time on the back-end, by making it necessary to Tap at least 3 or even 4 extra rounds of the "Short-Cut Method" to get the client finally down to "0".

Ever since your March 7/8 Level 1 EFT Workshop @ The Open Center in NYC, I have re-introduced the venerable "Nine-Gamut Technique", to ALL my workshops with excellent results.

I have definitely noticed that using the "Nine-Gamut Technique" takes less EFT tapping "rounds" to get the client down to "0", getting better, more thorough results, faster.
