I’d been introducing EFT tapping to a few co-workers during slow periods (mainly during night shift) at work. One night a particular co-worker was in terrible pain from doing a lot of exercising with a work out video at home prior to work. She was walking around the room very slowly, saying it felt like she was learning to use her legs for the first time.

She was saying “Man, I need a massage–like NOW!”

Finally after hearing this a few times I said, “If you are open to it, I can help with a really neat EFT tapping that will just take a few minutes and will most likely work wonders for you.”

She responded, “Yeah, OK!”

Her SUD level of Intensity number was at a 8 out of 10 for pain. 

We began to tap:

“Even though my legs are in so much pain right now, I deeply and completely accept myself.”

“Even though my legs are in so much pain right now, I deeply and completely accept myself.”

“Even though I may have pushed myself too hard while exercising, I deeply and completely accept myself.”

We did 3 complete tapping rounds including the 9-Gamut Technique, and I then asked her to stand up and walk.

Here are her exact words:

“No F’ing way! Oh my GOD! Oh my GOD! That’s amazing! It’s like a 2 now! I can’t believe it!”

I asked if she wanted to keep going to get her SUD level of intensity number for pain down to a zero, but she was so happy with a number of 2 on the SUD scal that she felt the pain was now easy to live with. I told her it didn’t matter if she believed in it or not — that it “just works.” Even while doing the tapping she was doubtful and skeptical that simply tapping wouldn’t work for her.

The entire event was over in less than 10 minutes.

She even admitted that she didn’t need a massage anymore.
