A Fast EFT Tapping Solution to Jet Lag

logosynthesis book by W Lammers

By W. Lammers

Jet lag is an unpleasant consequence of traveling and I have found EFT tapping to be a very effective treatment for jet lag.

Jet lag is caused by a discrepancy between the circadian rhythms, the biological clock of your body, and the real time zone you’re in. The circadian rhythms play an important role in the release of hormones such as adrenaline and melatonin, which keep you awake and let you sleep, respectively.

You feel good when your body’s circadian rhythms are in tune with real time on the earth’s surface. In that event, we could say that the “time fields” are “in tune.”

You can measure the discrepancy between body time and geo-time in hours. Normally, it takes a few days to adapt the body to geo-time for the place where you are.

You can also measure this disturbance using SUD Level of intensity number ratings: You feel bad, irritated, nauseous, sleepless on a scale from 0 to 10.

Even though I feel bad, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I feel irritated, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I feel nauseous, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I feel sleepless, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Even though I feel jet lag symptoms, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Meridian-based psychotherapies (MPTs) are the most effective treatment for jet lag I have discovered so far. The melatonin bottles stay in the bathroom closet unused. The best way to apply the treatment is during the flight every two hours until immediately before landing.

You can tap using the under the eye point, under the arm point, and collarbone point for traveling east and eyebrow and collarbone points for traveling west. Focus on the difference between the time field of your body and the time field of the earth and find the gap between the two.

A good way to find this out during the flight is by self-testing by your traveling companion:

My inner clock is on time / ___ hours behind/ahead.

Some people accurately estimate their inner clock, others don’t.

You can tap for:

Even though there is a disturbance of the time field, I deeply and completely accept myself.

or

Even though there is this jet lag feeling, I deeply and completely accept myself.

If you focus carefully on your “feeling” for the time of the day, you can literally feel your body shifting time zones during the application.

Once on a flight from Europe to the U.S., it took me three times three rounds of EFT to arrive in Newark, New Jersey, in tune. On my flight to SFO a week later, I tuned the time field in two times two rounds.

I didn’t have a trace of jet lag symptoms.

Of course, traveling west is much easier than traveling east. I flew back to Europe after a week in Canada and a week in the U.S., so I had to overcome a 9-hour lag.

I tapped throughout and after arriving back in Europe, I had to correct for only 1 hour. The first night home I was awake for an hour between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., but there were no other signs of jet lag.

Try tapping the next time you fly and see how it works for your jet lag symptoms.
