If you came here looking for help with the emotional pain of grief, let me help you. Whether your loss is recent, or years have passed, look no further! I am Jessica Currie, and I was deeply touched by loss both personally and professionally and it has taught me many valuable life lessons. I worked as an oncology nurse for over 20 years and lost my dear mother to cancer at an early age. I have seen the many different sides of grief. It is not easy to cope with grief every day. Most of us suffer silently from the effects of grief. Society in general, would like us to get over it and move on within days or weeks. We are expected to jump right back into our life and job as if nothing changed. Yet, for us, our world has changed. I made it my mission to help others with grief and teach what I have learned in my own grief journey. I became a Certified Grief Counselor to expand my knowledge of grief. I have learned grief as a professional nurse, as a family member, friend, and caregiver. I became a Clinical EFT Practitioner because it is an invaluable tool for decreasing symptoms of grief. I created Tapping Connection LLC, an EFT practice and blog specializing in helping people cope with the intense emotions and long-term symptoms of loss and grief while learning to live mindfully. While I am trained as a general practitioner, my passion is helping others with loss and grief. There is no cure for grief, but there are ways we can help ourselves feel better. We can allow ourselves to grieve while still allowing ourselves to live.
