Abstract: Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) combines working on the energy system of the body with spirituality, while tapping on certain points on the body. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of SEFT in improving the quality of life in women who experienced a landslide disaster in Purworejo, Indonesia, in 2016, using a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design. Subjects were six women in Purworejo aged 20 to 40, who experienced the landslide and had a low quality of life based on the WHOQOL-BREF scale. Quantitative data was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Qualitative data was obtained from interviews. The results showed that SEFT treatment was associated with was a significant improvement in quality of life, both in each subscale and overall.
