Athletic Injuries and Other Things
I'm 44-years-old and have been a fanatic soccer player all my life, but these past 3 years or so I've been suffering from cramping.
Mostly they would be in the legs and feet, but occasionally in the lower back. They'd normally happen as I lay in bed at night and it was disrupting my sleep as well as being painful. I could always feel the onset, but no matter what I did I couldn't shake it off.
The cramping could be excruciating. Until I tried EFT.
One night after learning EFT, I was experiencing a particularly painful leg cramp when my wife suggested that I try EFT. I just hadn't thought of using it.
It took three rounds of tapping to get the pain down to a one. Then another two rounds of tapping to make the cramp disappear. I was ecstatic, but get this: that was nearly three months ago and I've only experienced cramping ONCE in that time. The cramps returned last week and required two rounds of tapping to get the cramping to stop. This from a guy who was SUFFERING AT LEAST 3 to 4 times per week!
Remember to define the negative emotions surrounding what you are thinking as the cramping begins. Rate your pain and emotional state from 0 - 10, then add your setup statement: "Even though I feel tense and...." I'd recommend the EFT Mini- Manual if you aren't sure how to do this.
EFT does need to be used where the body's energy system is being disrupted by a negative emotion. I figure that if you're tuned into a negative emotion and can use EFT tapping on that to restore mental balance, then by tuning into a positive emotion you could enhance that emotional state.
