The Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Tapping Points

The basic premise of EFT tapping is that the root cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system. With emotional freedom techniques this is simply known as “the discovery statement.”
The Basic Recipe for EFT Tapping
The Setup.
A. Say an affirmation 3x
B. Simultaneously correct for Psychological Reversal.
Psychological reversal refers to the self-defeating, negative thinking that happens, even when we are not aware that it is going on.
The Affirmation.
Even though I have this [FILL IN WITH A BRIEF DESCRIPTION], I deeply and completely accept myself.
It doesn’t matter whether or not you believe the affirmation. It is best to say it out loud, but it’s not necessary.
While saying the affirmation you tap on the Karate Chop Point (spot number 8 on the above image). Repeat the affirmation 3 times while tapping on the Karate Chop Point.
The Pattern.
The tapping points feature one side of the body (except for the eyebrow, which is just there to show that you can tap on either side) in the above image, but you can use either side of your body. Tapping goes in order from 1 – 7 (with the exception of number 8, which shows the Karate Chop).
